Clean up the crap in wp_head(). Put it in yo functions file.

Copy this code and paste it in your HTML 
  1. remove_action('wp_head', 'feed_links_extra', 3); // Displays the links to the extra feeds such as category feeds
  2. remove_action('wp_head', 'feed_links', 2); // Displays the links to the general feeds: Post and Comment Feed
  3. remove_action('wp_head', 'rsd_link'); // Displays the link to the Really Simple Discovery service endpoint, EditURI link
  4. remove_action('wp_head', 'wlwmanifest_link'); // Displays the link to the Windows Live Writer manifest file.
  5. remove_action('wp_head', 'index_rel_link'); // index link
  6. remove_action('wp_head', 'parent_post_rel_link'); // prev link
  7. remove_action('wp_head', 'start_post_rel_link'); // start link
  8. remove_action('wp_head', 'adjacent_posts_rel_link_wp_head'); // Displays relational links for the posts adjacent to the current post.
  9. remove_action('wp_head', 'wp_generator'); // Displays the XHTML generator that is generated on the wp_head hook, WP version
