I am a developer and ActionScript 3, Flash and Flex enthusiast! At one time I spent my days glued to the computer playing Everquest and World of Warcraft. Now, I spend my time glued to the computer experimenting with web technologies and ActionScript 3. \r\n\r\nWhile enrolled in Multi Media Design & Production and Advanced Interactive Media at Fanshawe College I learned all aspects of web technologies from Design to back end programming and databases. Now that I have graduated I spend my spare time trying to learn as much as I can about writing better code and generally improving my craft. \r\n\r\nMore than anything I would love to get into flash game development but the opportunity hasn\'t come up yet!

Using the webcam in AS3 is super easy. You just need to attach the camera class to a video instance. This is a class that extends the video component for easily implementing a webcam display.
